I was, I am.

I was weak

I was shy

I was restrained

I was shielded

I am strong

I am free

I am courageous

I am me

I am the air

Rising high above

I am the wind

Silent but powerful

I am the roar

King of the animals

I am me

Happy and free

I was ignorant

I was flippant

I was lost

I was hurt

I am smart

I am dedicated

I am found

I am healed

I am growing

Like a weed that won’t quit

I am reborn

Like a cub after winter

I am awakening

Like a baby in the new world

I am me

Happy and free

I grew

I conquered

I experienced

I saw

I learned

I listened

I adapted

I changed

I was once

I am now

I continue to be

I continue to grow
