I was made like this
Everyday I wake up to new styles of fashion
and new profound beatuy.
Whether it's dealing with the excessive use of make up, or stripping off another person's image
so that you can fit in.
Is that really beauty? Are you endeavoring that much to be flawless?
I wake up in the morning thanking God that I'm alive...while wiping off my drool stain.
Flawless.
I laugh loudly with my friends and family when a joke is being made.
Flawless.
I stumble towards the ground and then, pick myself up. Smiling. Giggling.
A bruise on my elbow.
And yet, I still feel flawless.
No one is perfect. Although at some point of our lives, we either attempt or claim it.
Why can't we just accept our natural appearance?
Of course improving ourselves wouldn't hurt, but don't let it change the real you.
Yes, you.
I don't wear make up, unless you count the pimples decorated on my forehead.
I don't copy other peoples' style, unless it's an outfit that "last week me" wore.
I didn't just wake up flawless. I was made flawless.
