Almost So close I could feel the words The ones I was scared to say Forming in my throat Not in the way most think In the way that felt like I couldn’t breathe In the way that made it feel like my lungs were C O L L A P S I N G Now I wonder If I said it could I have helped you? Now I wonder If I typed it would you not hate me? Now I wonder… And I may never get the answer. If I had spoken up Said something Anything. Maybe you wouldn’t be where you are now. To my friend, I’m sorry I failed to help you.
