I was supposed to be someone else

In the corner, a small girl with chocolate brown eyes and long blonde hair plays.

She has no idea defeat is lurking behind her.

Straight A's; a gifted girl, a happy one.

When she leaves, defeat waits at home; if she doesn't return, defeat will find her.

She senses him sometimes, a ringing in her ears, or eyes from a window.

Defeat was born with her, she was born with defeat.

it was inevitable he would consume her in the end.
