I Will

On that path that lies ahead There is a force field cloaking a flowerbed Like an unread book stranded on a desk I worry that I will stay there until I’m dead Clueless and frightened, I cry in my sleep To know that you hold more beauty over me, I wish upon a star tonight That one day I will be the beauty in the beholder’s eye Worry not For I no longer linger in your shadow I my darling, will one day worship my voluptuous curves And bask in endless glory But you will see who holds more beauty over thee.
