I Will Always

I will always remember walking up with pokes at my side until I couldn't breathe.

I will always remember that smell that made my nose Christmas red. 

I will always remember the smile that could blind me every time. 

"I will always be there" for the last things, for the memories.

I will always remember those thime with the cold, smiles, and that awful 60s music.

I will always remember the smell of the elephants, the clowns with the bright red button nose.

I will always remember the battle between chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

I will always remember the mornings in PJs, the sunrise bakery doughnuts, twist never whole.

I will always remember the feel of the worms, the excitement of the fish being caught.

I will always remember the stupid age limits on almost everything.

I will always remember the stupid "names" we gave each other.

I will always remember the words "It's ok"

I will always remember that one day everything was changed.

I will always remember getting that awful phone call.

I will always remember the time after.

I will always remember your voice on the phone.

It was you that will always be there for me.

I will always remember the love you gave me. 

I will always remember the  tears stained on this paper.

I will always remember the words said on the day of goodbyes.

I will always remember your name.

I will always remember you.
