I Will Always Be Here
There so many things I wanna promise but I cannot say
I wanna yell out loud we will stay for “forever” but I don’t know if “ever” will stay
I know that I will always be standing next to you, do right by you
Sharing your problems and help you get your way through
I can’t say that we will always be together and that’s hurt me a little
I will always put you right next to me, not behind, in front or in the middle
I will never let you down and make you feel or say that you are all alone
Because there will always be someone here watching over you so you are not on your own
I want you to remember me as the one who always wishes to offer you a warm embrace
Even tho the world is against you, I will fight with you because your case is my case
I cannot dare to say that next to me you belong
But I’m sure I will never do you wrong
I don’t believe in forever because forever never last
I don’t believe in a safe place because people can break in really fast
I don’t believe time’s a healer because your heart and mind will always hurt you again and again
But I do believe when you cannot stand your pain anymore longer, I will be here, my friend
