I will always win
I hate you.
From the day you forced your way into my life, I had hated you.
But I will always win.
Now I am stronger.
Now I can move foreward.
Because you beat me down.
Because you made me yours.
Because you will never let me go.
But I will always win.
Because I am strong.
Because I can move foreward.
Because you will never fully go.
I will always win.
To my self doubt. To my fear.
To my struggle to force air into my lungs
and to take another step.
To the future I am afraid of.
To the ugliness I see
when I look in the mirror.
I press my hand against you
and watch you shatter
with a smile on my face
watching the shards of glass paint my hand red
Because I know for a fact
I will always win.
