I Will be Heard

I am strong

because I am loud.

I am fearless

because I refuse to be silenced.

I am proud

because I speak my mind.

I will be heard.

All around me

people cry from

hunger

thirst

loneliness

an inability to be who they are.

I will not stand idely by.

I will not stay silent.

I will be heard.

Some are

AFRAID

to speak

to sing

to be heard.

I will speak for them.

I will be heard.

I will not be silenced until all is

equal.

Until all is

right.

Until there is no

fear.

I

Will

Be

Heard.
