I will be heard

I will be heard,

From the rooftops,

I will be heard.

No longer stepped on like gum on a sidewalk,

I will be heard.

Listen, listen, listen,

To the roars of my lion,

Because I will be heard.

I am no longer that child who cried for protection.

But I am that person who strives for perfection.

I will be heard

I will be heard.

Because I have learned that it is best,

To be anyone and no one.

Than to be someone and everyone.

I will be heard by someone.

I will stand above everyone.
