I Will Be Proud and Stand Strong

Girls have been brainwashed by society

Telling us appearance is a priority

Telling us "be an object of lust"

"Show off your legs, butt and bust"

Society says beauty is a specific thing

When in reality we're all amazing!

Society says look exactly like this

Because if I do my life will be bliss

Men want me to be a trophy to show

Not a woman using knowledge to grow

Respect is something fleeting fast

When its truly what needs to last

Ladies stop being objects of lust and sex

And show everyone we as women deserve respect

Now I will be proud! And stand strong! And I will be me

I will not conform to society!
