I will be Strong.

Who am I?

sobbing underneath sheets

mouth pressed against hand

whimpers silenced

wishing I could leave

Where do I go?

from here

I don’t know

What am I doing?

crying under covers

wishing I was gone

Why am I like this?

abandonment is here

days go by hoping

hoping to reset

come back

How do I stop this?

ignore

ignore

ignore

hoping I won’t

I will be Strong.
