I Will Be Strong Again

Athletics are my pastime

But I am injured and no longer can enjoy them.

Upon two crutches I hobble instead of run.

I lose my breath in three steps when I would last sixty minutes upon a soccer field.

Will I give up? Will I find a new pastime?

Never.

I will recover.

And I will be strong again.

My heart aches at the very sight of sports.

I see myself out there and then I see where I am, here, stuck with one bad foot.

I must slowly heal to insure fast results.

It will happen.

I believe.

God is with me.

He will give me power to recover

And I will be strong again.
