I will be unchained

It hunts, it kills

It's subject to no will.

He fights to win

Starting from within.

He'll stop at nothing

He's still coming.

I let him win.

Again and again

My heart was tired,

lacking strength required.

He pushed me down

Driving into the ground.

I missed the good times

for fear of the climbs.

The nights made me shiver

All things made me quiver.

I'll never get back

The memories I lack...

Only I can be

The one to see.

To overcome that sense

The fear that immense.

He only controls me,

because I gave him that key!

But I stopped looking back.

I didn't let him attack.

Took control of my life,

ignored warnings of strife.

I refused to listen

His attacks were missing.

I will not just survive-

I will forever thrive.

I will not cower for fear-

I will persevere.

I will not just remain-

I will be unchained.
