I will Believe what I Will


Beliefs are the basis of a person, They determine what they will become, And over time they change To reveal someone new Religion is freedom, That our ancestors have fought for, Died, And yet we challenge and press To take away those liberties, Our rights which belong to everyone alone, Infringing in practices And asking someone to accept what they don’t agree with I call for liberty, For my unassailable rights, What separates me from the crowd, And makes me who I am, Which tethers me in place, I will believe what I will And never be brought down
