I Will Follow You
I’m not sure what I’m doing
but that’s okay
for Lord, You know.
I’m not sure where I’m going,
but God, You I will follow.
Can anyone see the beauty of your plan?
Does anyone know just where they stand?
This life strips away the strength of man,
and this you know,
because you left your throne.
Oh Lord how could you become one of us?
To live and die as one of us.
To feel our pain,
and resist wrong things
in a world that has forsaken you.
Oh Lord how could you become one of us?
To live and die as one of us.
It was my crime
but you did the time.
When I still hated you.
Oh Lord how could you love all of us?
So much that you would die in place of us.
This great of love I can’t understand,
but I will follow your plan.
For how could I do anything but live in you,
when you gave it all for me?
So wherever you lead, I’ll go.
Whatever you ask I’ll do.
For you have a plan
for me and my life
and I will follow you.
Inspired By: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
