I Will Help You Change
I will change the way you look at me
And others
When you see a pentagram you will no longer see
Stereotypical, pop-cultured views of summoning demons
You will see what I see
The combination of earth, water, wind and fire
The blend of the elements, the sunrise and sunset.
You will see the changing from one season to another
The wheel of life turning.
I will change your mind.
I will make you think differently.
I will help you consider the points of views of others.
I will help you be more open.
I will change the way you feel.
I will try to make you understand
The way I leave myself as I pray
The way I feel the breeze on my skin
The flicker of my heart as I watch the flicker of a candle
I will change the way you hear
So that “Wiccan” will not be equated to Devil-Worshipper.
So that “Pagan” will not involve throwing animals into fires.
I will make you listen.
I will try to change the way you think, and feel, and see.
Because I will never change myself.
