I Will Live

One conundrum after another

The days go spiraling away

Seems each moment is a blur

A thoughtless repetition

I’m never truly living

Never truly there

A vacant body is my possession

As I live my life

So dull, so broke

I keep waking, sleeping

Living, dying

Breathing, blinking

Yet nothing is inside

Nothing resides within

A skeleton that seems alive

Convinces the outside world

That I am human

That I am happy

It’s truly amusing

Knowing the lie

And living it anyways

Has become a game

It is my only purpose

If I even I can poses one

Meaningless is life

But I will life it anyways

Go trudging through each day

Seemingly valiant

But secretly hollow

With nothing to persevere for

Each entity bearing no transcendence

There is no inspiration
