I Will Never Give Up

The road is long and winding

The path  is rough and long

Your smile clears the clouds

Your eyes shine bring out the stars

No matter how many storms

No matter how hard the fight

I will be here always

Always waiting by your side

I will not give up

I will wait patiently by

No matter how hard you pull

No matter how far you push

I will never give up on us

Let the sky turn grey

Let the wind blow

The rain can pour

I still won’t go

My heart will never waiver

My love will never fade

Right by your side

Is where I will forever stay

LCaldwell

I am a writer, blogger and poet. I enjoy writing and do so when the mood strikes me. I have been known to stop what I am doing to jot down a poem. There are days when the words flow from my mind like water. I am also a parent to 3 amazing young men. I am married to an amazing man as well. We rang in the new year as newly weds. Each year we celebrate our anniversary as we close another chapter in the book of life.
