I Will Pretend

I Will Pretend That I Moved On Yet I'm Stock-still How Can I Go Forward When My Heart Is Where I'm Coming From I Will Pretend That The Space You Left Is Occupied Yet It Is Still Vacant For Your Replacement Is Out Of Existence I Will Pretend That I Don't Want You Back Yet My Arms Are Wide Open In Preparation For Your Return I Will Pretend That Seeing You Wrapped In Another Person's Arms It Doesn't Hurt Yet It Pains Inside I Will Pretend That Even Without You I Will Still Smile Yet There Are Sad Stories Lurking In The Smile I Will Pretend That All Is Well And Mingle With Some Friends Yet I Still Feel Lonely In Their Midst I Will Pretend To Heal This Broken Soul For My Pride And Ego Tells Me So
