I will rise again.

I am down on bruised knees with Disappointment coursing through my veins like blood The ash taste of failure stuck in my throat My head nestled on the breast of mother earth But that is not the end of me because I will rise again. The depth of my fall‎ does not matter Neither does the number of time counts Because in every failure is a seed of success And with every rising, a better way to start again As long as my destination is clear I will rise again. I thought you'd be there for me A shining light in my dark moments My backbone, the strength in my sinews  Alas! You left me on the sidewalk forgetting  That I am only down but not broken So, I will rise again.  My spirit refused to be broken My inner man determined more than ever My strength is renewed like a mighty ocean With God ahead leading me on Even if I stumble and fall a thousand times I will surely rise, again!
