I Wish

When the rain

Hits my coat

Or when the snow falls

From the sky,

And the ice on the streets melt,

And we kiss winter goodbye,

I have never been cold

On those winter nights,

When you come and go

In my mind,

The thought of you

Warms me up

To a hundred degrees

And doesn't stop,

And even though

Your love

Would make me melt,

Your non-existent love

I have always felt

-Nevena 💚
