I WISH

Dear past Me,

I WISH you never spent so much time worrying

I WISH you thought of the present instead of the future

I WISH you put yourself first instead of others

I WISH you listened to your parents more often

I WISH you told your family how much you loved them

I WISH you stopped the constant fighting with everyone in your life

I WISH you never locked yourself in your room for hours

I WISH you never pushed the people around you away

I WISH you were proud of yourself

I WISH you thought you were beautiful

I WISH you thought you were smart

I WISH you thought that you were good enough

Thankfully, you now know

                Your Future Self
