I wish and I wish

I wish every fairytale had a happy ending for everyone

That the Big Bad Wolf was a misunderstood neighbor instead of a hungry wolf

instead of him getting boiled to death

He became a new edition

to the piggy family

Or that moms of the characters wouldn't die when

needed

Who knows

maybe Cinderella would have been an independent business women

Running her own maid service

Or maybe we should

Tell the Grimm version

More to kids

Instead of the Disney one

Thats full of talking animals

And captures the 5 second attention span of a two year old

Just enough for the wailing beast

To convince you

To drive to the nearest target

And buy an overly priced Elsa doll

Just to stop its wailing

Or maybe,

We should change the endings instead

Snow White actually dies from the poison apple

And

Prince whatever his name

Grieves and finds love again

Or

Rapunzuel stands up to her mother instead of having a secret lover

They go to family counseling

Making the controlling mother realize her mistake

Just remember

Once upon a time...

Can lead you down your own crazy magical rabbit hole

 The End
