I Wish I could...

I wish I could forget Those three words you said to me On that hot summer day I wish I could forget Those ten months you spent with me Ten months you threw away I wish I could forget The text message you sent me On that terrible August Sunday I wish I could forget Every heartless thing you did to me But I remember everyday I wish I could forget That picture of you with her-not me On that busy February day I wish I could forget Everything about you that hurts me But it's a wound that never fades away I wish I could remember What life was like before you met me On that late September day But most of all I wish I could forget How much you meant to me I still think about you everyday
