I wish i could tell you...
I Wish i could tell you...
I wish I could tell you everything
I wish I could tell you how much I love when you play with the hair at the end of your neck,
or look at me as you’re talking to someone else,
or laugh your entire face is a smile.
I wish I could tell you how much I love the way you are,
how smart you really truly are
I wish I could tell you how much I love our talks, our letters
and how much I love the silences.
I wish I could tell you how much I love your hands, your eyes, your lips,
I wish I could tell you how much want to kiss those lips, hold those hands, look into those eyes and tell you everything I’ve ever known and feared for,
I wish I could tell you how you’re the first person I want to go to when something happens,
I wish I could tell you how much I wish we could go on all these crazy adventures together and how amazing it would be.
I wish I could tell you how much i love when you joke around with me,
like you do with others,
I’m not fragile, I promise.
I wish I could tell you that sometimes I daydream of a future with you in it,
by my side always, and I by yours.
I wish I could tell you how so very proud I am of you,
everything you’ve done, and everything you are.
You astound me, really.
I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me.
I wish I could tell you everything.
I wish I could tell you.
