I Wish It Had Been A Dream...

I wish it had been a dream. I wake up in the night. Covered in sweat and full of fright. The pain is terrible. My thoughts unbearable. My muscles contract. I have to face facts. It's not my time. I feel a chill run down my spine. My unborn child is lost. My world is turned and tossed. Grief surrounds me. As I stare at what could be. Replaying through my thoughts. My stomach is in knots. It makes me want to scream! The horrible sights I had seen... I wish it had been a dream.
