I Wish There Was No Need to Force

I wish there was no need to force the inspiration to come to fruition no need to push for an idea to come to life sitting here trapped not like a bird in a cage but a man stuck within himself not lazy but not willing to follow through The epiphanies right before bed The fruits of deep thought and careful planning Never being realized Only due to this man’s unwillingness To be outwardly What he plans inwardly I wish there was no need to force The inspiration to come to fruition How ironic it is That I’d rather be sleeping right now
