I Woke Up Like This
I think we are all flawless because
Flaws are intangible thoughts
Who defines these edges on a person?
Who defines what is beauty?
My nose is a little bit to flat
And my teeth are not so straight
But why are these my imperfections?
If no one else looks this way?
No, these flaws are my appeal
They define just who I am
Without these faults or crookedness
I am just like her over there
Sometimes I laugh loudly and make a silly choice
My skin is not so clear
But if these set me apart from you
Why is this not beautiful?
I am flawless because I wake up and see
An imperfect face in the mirror
And hold a personality full of quirks
That in the end of the day, are all just me
