i wonder

at first it was just a flower.

a small dark purple flower,

that scented a summers day.

just another decoration,

gracing on a lonely street.

then, it wasn't just a flower,

but a memory of a summer's day.

not just another decoration,

but words never spoken,

words that might have passed between you and me.

It was just a flower,

Right?
