I Wonder

I wonder if and when the time will bend

To the whims of the depths of my heart

There would be no hurt or loss

Nor jelousy, hate, or lust

Forget the betrayal and the second best

The lingering pain of last night's mess

In my time, things turn yellow

Just like the sun and the summer mello

That's when the world will rest, the stir will set

I wonder, can it be done
