I wonder Why

I’m always wondering why Am I repeatedly destroying my life? A repeated cycle I continue to take Finding myself again, asking for forgiveness of my mistakes. I wonder why I want to do right Yet wrong is beautified in my sight. It just doesn’t make sense to me How easy I stumble into misery. I wonder why it takes jail to make me think. Drowning in my own tears, I sink But when I’m free Back to destruction for me. I need help; Father for the pain is great Oh! How I’m tired of the same mistake Yes there is an evil force that is pulling me. In the name of Jesus let me free. I wonder why I have it all planned Then another mistake, yet I’m God’s woman Help me Lord, please keep me straight So there will be no more unnecessary mistakes.
