I Worry

Tue, 10/29/2019 - 04:13 -- CH

I fear for you sometimes

the way your shoulders tense when you look at the mirror,

the way you refuse to look into your eyes,

the way your fists clench tightly,

your green green veins popping against pale skin.

It’s selfish,

selfless

for me to ask and for you to reject

take care of yourself,

Us

please

you and me,

we

are the same body same mind same heart same blood

the same dark thoughts,

I know it’s hard

I know it sounds empty but I swear that I’m there with you

in the clouds and in the pits.

We know how lost we are

We know it’s painful to love us when everybody else seem to hate us

and maybe they do,

but trust me

they’re not the important ones, the ones we should hold close.

You only have one

we only have one

one chance one life one shot to love with our

body mind heart blood

it hurts to let it beat I know

but we have to

give it a chance life shot, love...

I fear for me sometimes

the way my shoulders tense when I look at the mirror,

the way I refuse to look into my eyes,

the way my fists clench tightly,

my green green veins popping against pale skin.
