I would ...

If only I had wings I would fly

through the trees and across the sky

If I could swim across the ocean blue

I would dog-paddle just to be near you

I would climb the highest mountain

just to drink from your fountain

On galloping steed I would ride

just to be near you by your side

If only I had a race car I would speed

like Schumacher just to fulfill your need

If I could pilot a private jet

I would be your obedient pet

I would run across the land

just to hold your delicate hand

Over the hills and far away

I would beg in order to stay

If only I had a motorcycle I would zoom

all day and night to be in your room

If I could rocket past the moon

I would be with you very soon

I would crawl on hands and knees

to be by your side and to please

Through rivers, streams, and moats

I would paddle my wooden row boats

If only I could conduct the trains

I would be bound by your chains

If I could ski the highest slopes

I would not stop losing hopes

I would travel through time and space

just for one moment to see your face

Across the sea on masted ship

I would kneel for you in worship
