I Would Change Addiction

That thing eats us alive

We struggle with addiction

We can make it through

It's more than an affliction

I want more than just to strive

And it's under my jurisdiction

Let me please tell it adieu

Finish it off with conviction

I know we feel deprived

So does my prediction

But you know as well as I do

In the end this will be fiction.
