I Wouldn't Do That To You


To be honest with you, he didn't know what he wanted.

He didn't know what love was but just as an excuse to hold you hostage.

I know you think I'm just like all the rest,

"Oh, baby I'm different",

"I would treat you better than him",

But for me, being with you is more than just a guardian angel.

I wanna take you on fun dates to the arcade,

I wanna take weird selfies with,

Hold you close and make you smile when you're upset,

I wanna look at you everyday

And show you that you're the most beautiful person on this planet

You may find it hard to trust me after what you experienced with him,

But give it some time,

And you'll feel a love unlike any other
