I Write...

I write for me

I write for the tortured souls dying to be free

I write for the young and the old

I write for those with stories waiting to be heard

I write for the ones with no voice

I write for unemployed with no choice

I write for the dead

I write for the living

For my poems are like the gift that keeps on giving

I write for the hungry

I write for the poor

Hoping that my poems may offer a little more

See the reason I write is really quite simple

I write to and for the people

So if there was ever a wonder who my poems are for

My poems are for you
