I write

I write for many reasons; 

The most selfish reason is for me.

I do it to release my thoughts that I can't find the exact words for how I feel.

When I can't articulate a synonym for my feelings

An extended metaphor or simile portrays that elegant speech.

I write for aesthetics.

Poetry for me is not  just words.

From every stroke of a letter or word the poet writes, 

Another picture is placed in the mind.

I write for knowledge,

For every poem I write I learn something new.

I learn the flow of words and how each word sings a song even when it is not a ballad,

When lined and staged with one another.

I write because it's a place I can escape to. 

A land of words that form to what I want them to.

A place my can open up and allow others to see.

Open to judgement without a care of what you may think of me. 

I write because I can write.
