I write
I felt as if my mind was a cage, like I couldn't speak my true feelings to anyone, i was stuck in this rage.
Things started to bottle up, and I started to change.
Little by little my friends started to worry, because I wasn't my usual self.
Tankfully one day my best friend came to the rescue with a sure thing to replenish my health.
she handed me a book with pages that were blank, and one of my favorite pens that write in black ink.
That night before bed I had this urge to write, so I grabbed my black book and began to think.
my mind began bleeding all the emotions ive kept locked so tight.
I couldnt hold my tears back it was a loosing fight.
words began to flood from the tip of my pen, and with each moment of writting my spirit began to lift.
things I have held back for years, and never told a soul, those burdens are lifted and i've been given a new goal.
To never fall down as far as I did, to keep writting my heart, and lightening my soal, so never again may i feel like such a fool.
I write for pleasure, I write for me, I write because I can be free.
