I Write

I write to have a voice

A voice that can scream

A voice that can cry

A voice that can laugh

A voice that is understood by others

A voice that means something

I write to have feeling

To feel the words

To feel the meaning

To feel the passion

To feel the pain

To feel the joy

I write to imagine

To imagine a future

To imagine a smile

To imagine a beautiful sunrise

To imagine a wonderful sunset

I write to express

To express who I am

Who I will be

And who I was

I write to forget

To forgive

And to move forward

But most importantly

I write because I can

I write now

And I’ll write tomorrow

Day after day I’ll write

Until I can’t anymore

But until then

I’ll write
