I write

Reading stories about Zora Neale Hurston, A 3rd grader, dreaming to one day become a writer. Hearing poems written by Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes, Inspired and amazed at the images they create through a poem I write. Emily Grosholz's "Eden" and Aphra Behn's "On Her Loving Two Equally," Poems that connect to readers as an artist connects with their fans. It's all about feeling, your emotions. Authors, poets connect with their readers emotionally, Readers feel what the writer feels I write. Why do I write...I write to express myself and my true feelings, To share my experiences with others; hoping to connect with them, To tell my story and to write what some dare not say. I write to escape, to overcome, to grow, to progress. I write so I can put my heart, my tongue, my mind into words, to create a mountain of stories, I write.
