I write because it helps. I write because it hurts. Sometimes the world is cruel and the words just don't come out right. Then I pour them on paper and I feel better. Like losing Grampy last year. Not fitting in. Bad poems about love. The written word is more powerful than anything I can speak. I write because it helps me heal. I write because I have a voice. I write because I love it.
