I Write Because

I write because life is hard It’s like a deck of cards There’s no control of the hand you get You just have to play and place your bet If luck is good and your faith is high There is no doubt you’re flying in the sky You say jack but it’s an ace It’s over now you’ve lost your race You fall and stumble around You and your tears lay on the ground You hope and you pray To find better luck today I write because life is hard You pick up a pen and write a word or two Just to keep track of the things you do Your words have become something like a book So you take a look You call King and now it’s right Life is now looking bright I write because life isn’t always hard.
