I Write (Day Two)

I write/ Like a little kid arguing with his parents/ I write(right)/ When I feel the call./ I write/ And take flight off of the runways of my poems/ Ultimately, words are my weapons/ Like I'm a paladin, my words kill demons, and brings life to others/ But were not in a game, you could never make me say that it is/ Nor will I role-play/ This here, isn't me putting up a facade that looks a lot like my fore fathers/ This is me, taking the baton/ Further than anyone has taken it before/ I turned the 220 meter run into a marathon/ The work of generations before me will not meet a swift end/ So as I write, this sword carving characters, cutting into the canvas/ You have generation upon gereration upon generation guiding my blade/ I will slay the lie, and establish truth in my wake/ And my grave stone will be a MOUNTAIN/ Because my biggest fear isn't that I die down in some hole/ My biggest fear I don't live up to my Fathers work in me/ So for His sake, I write/
