I write to live. I write to thrive. I write to keep my thoughts and feelings alive. I write to share. To get out of my head To do something instead Of dwelling in harmful thought and regret. On sleepless nights Or dragging days Writing is my escape. Emotions take shape. Meaning given rise To the power inside. I write to cope. I write to give hope. To myself. To others. I write for communication. It is my salvation. I write because I have the right to write. The right to freedom The right to speak The right to my sanity.
