I Write To Live Better

I write to live

I write to be inebriatedly inspired

And to be physically in verve

And to survive

Thank God! I get angry

Or swear rarely

In the face of quandary

I live to write

I love to write

All that I can

All that I want

In my hours of delirium

I write to live, to love

To excel and to be happy

I write all the time

And at any time

About everything that I can

About everyone that I want

I dream, I hallucinate and I write

And I abhor the backstabbers

I disdain the racists, the corrupters

The hypocrites and the liars

I fight and write for the freedom to palaver

To speak, to blatter, to parler, and to twitter

Like a good, honest and decent blogger

In spring, in winter, in summer

And in the fall. I write at night

When I’m bored. I read to revive

I read again to subsist, to sustain

To give a standing ovation to my friends

And to denounce and to chide the enemies

I write to live

Free.
