I write for me

I write for hope I write for care I write for all the lonely days When I felt no one was there. I write for love I write for me I write for all the things I dream of And all that could ever be. I write when I feel voiceless I write with a passion for expression I write to bear my soul And to tell a story that's never been told. I write for me. I write for me. I write for my happiness And my pain. My hopes and dreams And the life I work to gain. I write because this is my life And i write because this is my voice. I write to tell my story. I write for me. Maybe when I'm long gone I will be remembered As the writer of truth and dreams And an inspiration to others. But until that day comes, Or if it never does, I just write for me. And if you feel the same as I do, Then I guess I write for you, too.
