I Write to Right

Young girls write so that one day, the Mr. Right that they've always been dreaming and writing about might appear, right here. Young boys write about righting the wrongs of evildoers in their comic books, sure that the communities are right in that wrongs are wrongs when Superman is against it. Song writers write so that one day, the people might see the songs for what they are meant to be: Messages of hope. Hope so strong that it burst out of the soul in a righteous tune which willed the one who wrote them, to write them. When I write, I am always right. I find the words which were bottled up, surfaced. I find the words which complete the puzzle, hidden under the puzzle box. I find that I write to right the wrongs which have so graciously invited themselves into a world which needed them not. I write in order to find a peace within myself. I write to hope and to remember. I write so I that I can remember to write. I also write so that I remember to right. I hope to right and write and right the wrongs, all day long, so that one day I might just write about how right everything already is. I write to right the wrongs. I write to remember to right. That is why I write.
