We are each called to serve the Lord

With many gifts to us He's poured

My gift of poetry

I pray to use

To give light to the world

And light its fuse.

I am a soldier of the cross

Reminding people of the loss.

The loss we suffer when we sin,

But are made whole again in Him.

All I have is not my own;

But rather comes from God's throne.

Each of us has his gift to share;

To fight the burdens that we bear.

My gift I share with you to show

God's Love and Mercy through my own

The words I write to serve Him best,

I write because I am blessed.

I write to serve the Lord.
