I Write, but Why?

The reason I write is familiar to all,

to make bitter words sweet as I last recall.

I write when I feel I am about to descend,

the burning steps of hell to join Hades' friends.

But I do admit to this joyful tingling,

when I sit and draft out all that I'm feeling.

I often write about nature's many wonders,

like mountain peaks and rocks that creatures live under.

I admit I am young and hormones take me for a ride,

but sometimes the ride gets tough and there are feelings i can't hide.

I write to convey messages through riddles and rhymes,

for people who point dirty fingers and accuse me of various crimes.

I am new to writing and as writing is to me,

but poems and I,

we're best friends because they make me content and happy.

Now the question is "Why would I not write?"
